The footboard is an optional extra that you can add to either the basic bed kit or the wide-module bed kit. You can add it when you buy the bed kit or later. This option lets you keep the rear seats or remove them at any time to have more space in the central area of the vehicle. You can also add to the footboard another optional extra that lets you form a table. When used as a footboard it is supported on two bed-height legs, and when used as a table it is supported on four other table-height legs, which we can use both inside and outside the van. We normally make the footboard with the dimensions needed for the bed to have a total length of 190 cm. Another special feature of the footboard is that we can make it with two types of folding: we can make it with lower folding, which acts as a cargo bulkhead, or we can configure it with upper folding, which gives us greater cargo length under the bed, a length we sometimes need, for example, to fit surfboards under the bed or any other object that needs the full cargo length of our camper van.
