Frequently asked questions

Does the kit need approval or an inspection (ITV) on the Volkswagen?

No. The kit rests on and is anchored to the vehicle without touching its structure or classification, so it needs neither approval nor a new inspection (ITV).

How long does it take to fit, and are tools needed?

About five minutes. The floor, the modules and the boards go in piece by piece, and one person can do it without tools.

Can it be removed to get the van back as it was?

Yes. It comes out as easily as it goes in, and your Volkswagen gets back its load capacity and its standard seats.

How much does it cost to convert the Volkswagen into a camper?

From 29 €. Each kit shows its price on this same page; the final amount depends on the bed you choose and the accessories you add.

Will any kit fit the Volkswagen?

The kits on this page are made to the measurements and anchor points of the Volkswagen. If your van is a different version, find it in the catalogue.
